Bake Oven Knob: hiking, bird-watching, and beautiful observation lookouts!

Follow Rt. 309 North from Schnecksville (about 9 miles from 309/873 intersection). Make a right onto Mountain Road. Follow Mountain Rd. for 3 miles. Turn left onto Bake Oven Knob Rd. The road will ascend over the Blue Mtns. At the crest, look for parking on the right. A trail at the base of the parking lot leads directly to the outlook points.

Wind Gap: excellent hiking, Appalachian Trail!

Follow Rt. 33 (North if coming from the Lehigh Valley) to Rt.115 (Wind Gap). Follow 115 North until the base of the Mountain. Before going under Rt.33, there is a parking lot on the right hand side. (There is a sign for the Appalachian Trail.)
