Goleta Beach County Park

34 24' 95 N
119 50' 14 W

Goleta Beach County Park is a stretch of low, sandy shoreline. The most valuable man made structures at Goleta Beach are the long fishing pier, the parking lot, and the riprap revetment. Due to recent winter storms and El Nino events, its wide sandy beach has nearly disappeared. The greatly diminished beach and park area is protected by emergency riprap placed during a winter storm.
